Meet

Bella Rareworld

I was first diagnosed with bipolar disorder 13 years ago. Each morning, tenacity gets me out of bed because I never give up on my dreams.

There’s still lots of work to be done to reduce stigma and discrimination surrounding people who have a mental health condition. I'm proud to use my voice as a podcaster and speaker sharing my inspirational story, on how I got from A to B.

Qualifications / Certifications

2019 | NCFE CACHE  | Level 2 Certificate in Mental Health Awareness

2021 | MHFA England | Mental Health First Aid Course (pending)

Mental Health Speaker & Advocate

Turning stress into success, I feel brave to publicly share my truths: Life with bipolar disorder and my journey balancing bipolar disorder with a high-octane career as a professional speaker and a female entrepreneur.

Despite living with a mental illness, I've started a business as a mental health speaker and now podcast host of Think Tenacity Podcast.

Conference/event managers hire me as a speaker for their audience which brings me joy to promote, "physical health is no different to mental health".

It's a rewarding role as a professional speaker and podcaster. At every online event, I hope to inspire another person to improve their mental wellbeing,

by sharing my motivational tips.

“I hope one day a person diagnosed with bipolar disorder can be judged for the person they are

– not for their mental health”

What is Bipolar Disorder?

United Kingdom National Health Service (NHS) describes Bipolar disorder as a mental health condition that affects your moods, which can swing from one extreme to another.

It used to be known as manic depression. Episodes of mania and depression often last for several weeks or months.

Bella's Tip.

Everyone has

the special

magic of tenacity!

My bipolar comes in two forms; manic episodes and depression. I do get manic episodes, but I’d say about 70% of the time my bipolar manifests as depression.

When I have depression I feel worthless, I’ll often have short term memory loss, to the extent where I’ll forget my achievements. I feel low confidence and low self-esteem, which is unusual as I am quite a confident person with gift of tenacity.

I bought a manual scooter, during a difficult bipolar episode and it turned my life around. My scooter become my best friend and the greatest motivator. Check our my #BellaScooterDay adventures on

social media.

1.3 million people in the UK have bipolar. That is one in fifty people.
